Francis-Henri Graffard

THE FRENCH SHOOTING STAR
In 2019 Graffard shot into the limelight for good by winning two Group 1 races – with CHANEL in the Prix de Diane and WATCH ME at Royal Ascot. In Germany his success with THE REVENANT in the Badener Meile (Gr.2) made quite an impression.
Graffard trains since 2011 in Chantilly, starting off with just seven horses. He was part of the Darley Flying Start program and worked as an assistant trainer for Alain de Royer-Dupré, the principal trainer of the Aga Khan. Graffard now trains Aga Khan horses himself - and thoroughbreds for Schlenderhan, the Jürgen Winter owned Haras de la Perelle and Görlsdorf. Graffard’s passion for the sport was raised by his grandfather, the National Hunt breeder Dr Henri Champliau.
